Production Module

Know the real cost of what you make yourself

Pizza dough, lentil soup, sauces, cold brew… In most systems, the cost of semi-finished items you make in-house is either never calculated or entered as a guess. In Orderly, production is a module of its own.

A production entry creates a new stock card

When you record a production, the ingredients are deducted from stock and the output enters stock as a new stock card. That card can then be used as an ingredient in the recipes of dozens of menu items. That's how the semi-finished → finished chain is built.

Real cost: ingredients + overhead share

Cost isn't just ingredients. Ingredient-level extra costs, general extra items and an overhead percentage are all taken into account. Enter your target profit margin and the suggested selling price is calculated and written on the output card.

Expense management — fixed, supply and staff costs

A price rise enters in one place and spreads everywhere

When an ingredient's price goes up, the cost of every production that depends on it is recalculated automatically. When flour goes up, the dough's cost updates; when the dough costs more, the pizza's cost updates on its own.

Who is it for?

The pizzeria that rolls its own dough, the patisserie that makes its own cream, the burger place that simmers its own sauces, the coffee shop that prepares its own brews, the eatery that cooks its own soup. Every kitchen that makes intermediate products sees the real cost of what it makes with this module.
