Smart Recipe Engine

When the choice changes, stock and cost change with it

Traditional systems define one recipe per product. When a customer asks for “almond milk, double shot”, the system still deducts regular milk and a single shot. By month's end, both stock and costs are wrong. Orderly fixes this at the root.

Options add stock to the recipe and remove stock from it

A product option isn't just a price difference. When defining an option, you specify the stock to add to the recipe, the quantity used, the waste percentage and the stock to remove from the recipe. So when “almond milk latte” is selected, almond milk is deducted instead of cow's milk.

Quantities are counted, waste is accounted for

If the same option is selected twice (a double shot), the count is tracked and stock is deducted accordingly. Every recipe line has its own waste percentage; the weight lost when onions are peeled or meat is cooked flows into both stock deduction and cost.

Define once, apply to forty products

Modifier groups are set up once and applied to as many products as you want. Define the “milk alternatives” group once and assign it to all your coffees. Change an ingredient's quantity and it updates across every product.

For whom this alone is a reason to switch

For coffee chains (milk alternatives, shots, sizes), boutique burger places (extra patty, cheese swaps), pizzerias (size changes and removed toppings) and any kitchen full of extras, this feature alone is a reason to switch systems.
